Quicktime for Windows has not been supported by Apple for many years.  The technology giant is not warning users to uninstall any old copies of QuickTime that might still be installed and running on systems due to a large security vulnerability.  Check your systems and see if you have it in your programs – especially if you have ever connected an iPhone or iPad to your PC as that might have triggered the installation.  If you do have it, remove it immediately.
